You are a spiritual healing practitioner; what does that mean?

.

I am a licensed, professional Religious Science practitioner. As such, I am trained to help people resolve challenges and expand into a greater experience of life.

I am honored to follow the path set forth by Ernest Holmes, Founder of the Religious Science movement, his wife Hazel Holmes, and other great metaphysical healers such as Phineas Quimby, Emma Curtis Hopkins, Joel Goldsmith, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore.

The RScP designation that always follows my name in professional situations indicates that I practice from and am trained in that tradition.

I refer to myself as a spiritual healing practitioner to focus on the benefits of my work, spiritual healing and transformation. I’m a big proponent of choosing titles to reflect the benefits rather than the form of what we do. Still, I am a Religious Scientist through and through!

What inspires your work? Why do you do it?

My commitment as a licensed practitioner and as the Founder and Spiritual Director of Higher Vision Center is for every person on the planet to experience the wholeness, freedom and creativity that are our birthright.

I believe that spiritual healing through affirmative prayer and self-actualization through visioning are two of the most empowering ways that we can awaken to, experience and live our true and divine nature. In doing so, we advance the evolution of heaven on Earth for all.

I know that many of my fellow Religious Science practitioners feel the same dedication to providing this transformational support.

.Do you offer private spiritual counseling sessions?

Yes, in fact several practitioners are available for you to choose from through Higher Vision Center. I am available for private sessions in addition to my work as Spiritual Director.  

Working with a practitioner is a powerful gift to yourself and the world. We are here to help you get clear about who you BE and claim the results you desire in life.

When might I consider meeting with a practitioner?

Consider meeting with one of us when an aspect of your life feels blocked, when you feel stuck in a pattern or habit in spite of your best efforts at change, or when there is something in your life that you would like to accomplish or achieve. Some come in for a single session or a series of sessions for the purpose of manifesting a specific outcome. Others prefer a series of sessions to support ongoing spiritual growth and deepening.

How can you help me?

We teach people how to become healers in their own lives. As licensed spiritual practitioners, we use powerful, affirmative prayer and teach universal spiritual principles, assisting our clients and students in applying these principles to their day-to-day living and to any challenges they may face.

In a spiritual healing session, we get to the heart of the situation, allowing you to understand it from a metaphysical point of view, getting beyond the facts and feelings to the true cause of your situation. We’ll support you in realizing your desired result and in cultivating the consciousness and spiritual mindset that will allow you to sustain these desired results with grace and ease.

Can my situation really change for the better?

YES! It’s all too easy to lose sight of our divinity and get caught up in the human experience of disease, disharmony, lack or discontent. At these times, it is especially helpful to work with a practitioner. We understand the human condition without giving power to it, for we know that at our essence we are all whole, perfect and divine.

The practitioners at Higher Vision Center are adept at compassionately understanding the pain and frustration of any experience in which you find yourself, and at the same time seeing beyond “the story” to the Truth that can set you free.  We remain steadfast in the vision of your desired good until it manifests. Simply, we know the truth for you until you know it for yourself, until it shows up in your life.

In the words of Dr. Wayne Dyer, we can help you “change the way you look at things” until “the things you look at change” and your desired outcome has been achieved.

How do you heal clients?

Truthfully, we don’t heal anyone, yet the people we work with definitely experience healing and transformation. Anchored in the spiritual practice of affirmative prayer, we create a safe, non-judgmental space for healing to take place. .

We use and teach a powerful form of affirmative prayer called spiritual mind treatment that transforms lives and heals all personal issues - health, money, relationships, work, addictions, life purpose. Sometimes, a person is too close to a situation to see it clearly. We can always see the Truth for you. We do not do the healing, the Divine Light within you does.

Miracles are the norm with affirmative prayer.

What is Affirmative Prayer?

At Higher Vision Center, the core of a spiritual healing session is the affirmative prayer. Affirmative prayer, also called spiritual mind treatment, is a primary spiritual tool taught in the Science of Mind philosophy. This scientific form of prayer, which has achieved definite, immediate and demonstrable results for over 80 years, realigns thought to the positive Truth and sets in motion a new, clear and wise path for the spiritually best outcome to manifest. As Higher Vision Center practitioners, affirmative prayer and visioning are at the center of our personal lives and our approach to working with others.

Higher Vision Center was founded to teach affirmative prayer and visioning, helping people become agents of transformational healing in their own lives and in the world.

How does it work?

The dynamic power of affirmative prayer lies in its ability to clear away old, negative ideas, the false beliefs limiting our full experience of life, while establishing new patterns of healing harmony that lead to the desired outcome and claim the wholeness and freedom that are our birthright.

We can pray for you and we can teach you how to use spiritual mind treatment to pray for yourself and others. The people we work with often find that they become agents for change and transformation in their families, in their communities and in the world. We teach our clients and students how to be healers in their own lives.

Tell me more about your training. What healing tradition are you trained in?

At Higher Vision Center, the Science of Mind philosophy is the foundation of our teaching and healing work. Our practitioners have completed 4 years of specialized study and application in the art and science of affirmative prayer and spiritual healing and have successfully passed a written exam and an oral panel consisting of an ordained minister and two seasoned, licensed practitioners.

To maintain our licenses we continue our training and education, provide sacred service in a Religious Science spiritual community, and document actual demonstrations of healing and transformation in our lives and in the lives of our clients.

How often do I need to meet with you? What is your fee and why?

Unlike many other counseling professionals, we do not require weekly sessions over an extended period of time. We believe that healing transformation can occur instantly, without lengthy analysis or process work. Our clients often experience concrete changes and healing in one session.

Still, there are times when a series of sessions can best support a client to the shift that leads to the desired outcome. Also, we have clients who prefer to meet with us on an ongoing basis to support their continued spiritual growth and self actualization. The client is always the one who chooses.

We foster no sense of dependency; we do not see ourselves as required intercessors between clients and God. Our goal is to empower those we work with to use spiritual principles and tools for themselves to heal, change and transform their lives.

We accept a fee as compensation for our time, training and skills, as do other licensed professionals in private consulting practice (such as therapists, coaches and counselors).

To keep our services accessible to all, at Higher Vision Center we offer spiritual healing sessions on a love offering basis, with $35-$50 suggested for a 25 minute session and $75-$125 for a 50 minute session.

We also provide prayer support through our Higher Vision Prayer Network at no charge.
